Today morning, our representative will be there to meet and greet you and transfer you to Bomdila(7923 ft) – headquarter of West Kameng District. We will stop at the Bhalukpong gate before entering Arunachal and also for a short lunch break. You can also opt to click some photos with the beautiful Jia Bhorali in the backdrop. Later check in at the hotel in Bomdila. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Bomdila

NOTE: Permits (ILP) are required to enter Arunachal Pradesh for everyone except for the people of its state. Also note that the Bhalukpong gate closes at 3 p.m. so we have to reach there before 3 p.m.

In the morning post an early breakfast, we will drive to Tawang (10,000ft). On the way we will stop at Sela Pass, one of the highest and the toughest mountain pass in Northeast India. Note that the oxygen is very thin and change in altitude may cause breathing problem, so take necessary belongings and appropriate measures. Later we will visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Don’t miss your chance to peek a glimpse of the mesmerizing Gori Chen Mountain from here. Later drive to Tawang. Check in at the hotel and take some rest in order to acclimatize yourself to the cold weather. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Today after a healthy breakfast we will move out of the hotel to explore the nearby beauties of Tawang. First we will head towards the oldest and the biggest (in Asia) Tawang Monastery also known as the GadenNamgyalLhatse which translates to “the divine paradise of complete victory”. Later we will visit places like the Tawang War Memorial, The Giant Buddha Statue, Nun Monastery (also known as the Ani Gompa, ropeway transfer with breathtaking view), UrgellingGompa and the Tawang Emporium Handicrafts Centre. In the evening enjoy the light and sound show in the War Memorial. Enjoy an early dinner as in Tawang everything closes by evening due to the cold weather. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Today morning post breakfast, we will head over to the Bum La Pass (16404 ft) which is the Indo China border. In 1950, the 14^th Dalai Lama escaped from Tibet to India through this Pass. Also you will be amazed to see how the soldiers from both the countries perform their duties at such harsh weather condition. So make sure to thank the Indian soldiers for their service. While returning we can visit the Sangetsar Tso or Madhuri Lake. In the evening explore the local markets of the city and buy souvenirs. Also taste some local cuisines. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Today is our last date in Tawang. After a healthy breakfast we will start our journey downhill to Dirang. On reaching Dirang we will quickly explore the DirangDzong (if time permits). Later take a stroll in the local market to buy few souvenirs. Later head towards Sangti Valley (5249 ft) - a serene and peaceful heaven. After a lot of altitude change we will finally step into a serene and peaceful heaven. Check in at the homestay or can opt for camping by the calm Sangti river. Later enjoy the cool refreshing air with the famous local Kiwi wine. Overnight stay at Sangti Valley.
