Namdapha National Park

Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve is situated in Miao Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh, near the Myanmar border. This national park and tiger reserve is buried within a green luscious forest and possesses a great biodiversity of flora and fauna. The national park is famous for being the only park in the world that is home to four big cat species- Leopard (Panthera pardus), Tiger (Panthera tigris), Clouded Leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) and Snow Leopard (Panthera uncia). The biodiversity of the place consists of about 1000 flora and 1400 faunal species. More than 150 timber species are present in the national park. Namdapha can easily be called a botanist’s dream as it can take about 50 to do a complete comprehensive study about its botanical resources. One of the rarest and endangered orchids, Blue Vanda is also found here.
